Dory Welch

Dory Welch has a background in nonprofit development, marketing, and strategy. Dory received her Bachelor of Science from the Rubenstein School of Natural Resources at the University of Vermont with a concentration in Environmental Justice and Sustainability. After graduating in 2017, she continued her education with graphic design courses at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, while simultaneously working as a paralegal on high scale, mass tort cases with Weitz & Luxenberg Environmental Law Firm. Dory went on to later focus on marketing and communications for Prospect Park Alliance–a nonprofit which sustains Brooklyn's flagship park, in both stewarding the 575-acre space and creating a haven for the surrounding communities. 

Dory recently served as the Director of Advancement for Astoria Park Conservancy–a small nonprofit based out of Jackson Hole, which stewards Astoria Hot Springs and the surrounding 100-acre park. Today, Dory utilizes her expertise in fundraising, mission focused copywriting, communications planning, and visual storytelling through graphic design to advance the mission of causes she cares about. She additionally carries out high level research and data collection to support PPA's implementation of collaborative assessments, major gift strategy development, campaign planning studies and capital campaign implementation. Dory is an avid hiker, snowboarder, and painter and lives in Bozeman, Montana.
